Did they know back in Nha Trang that we were taking incoming so many times? That first time! Was it beer that I was getting rid of or, was it "scared"? R & R money stolen after we got hit that night! Went on R&R anyway! Got back to Nha Trang and they wouldn't send me back to Song Mao. Who damaged that 3/4-ton truck? "Charlie" did it! Binh Thuan TOC. RTO? Me? OJT and learn about being jammed! Booby-trap (grenades) go off the night before leaving for Nha Trang -- the exploding fridge interrupted the movie didn't it? Clearing Post in Nha Trang -- what was it? Three days? Lost paperwork in the Orderly Room! Never found it, hey Top? I never got it, either! Shuffled from Cam Ranh to Tan Son Nhut! Finally, California and "Good ole USA"! Re-up? No way! Lost a good friend in Captain Long (ARVN S-5 in Song Mao). Lost another in that SFC, who gave us the Thermite grenade in Song Mao! I think the 54th expected us to "Shoot the crypto gear"! Or, they didn't think that we could get overrunned! Thank God, it's in the past!
