Paul's Story
Life
My wife of 19 years, two daughters (10 & 6) and I now live in mid-Hudson valley of New York State. I am an Associate Professor of Theatre Arts at SUNY New Paltz, and have been an actor, director, and teacher since I left Bay.
I met Kit in New York City in 1984 and we were married in 1987. I managed to be employed as an actor enough to make a living, but found after doing a long run that it wasn't for me. I found teaching in 1989, and after two years at a private school in New York, landed a tenure-track position at Bradley University. Sarah came along in 1996, but two months later, my sister Julie, succumbed to cancer and died at the age of 41. My brother Dan, and my other sister, Deborah, are doing well and living on the West Coast (San Diego and Seattle). My mother left Bay in the early 90s and now resid...Expand for more

I have been lucky enough to do what I love for a long time, and had some small successes on the way. My students are a continual source of joy, as are the many wonderful artists and colleagues with whom I have had the privilege to work. In April 2006 a textbook I wrote on acting was published (check it out on Amazon.com!).
I drag down the Whole Bay Catalog from time to time and Sarah laughs at how her dad looked back in the 70s. I really haven't kept in touch with anyone from Bay, but with the internet, a few old friends have touched base. It's fun to hear from people, so if you've a mind to, track me down--I'm not hard to find.
