Paul's Story
Hello, I've been negligent in updating my story, so here goes......I retired years ago from being a graphic artist after some years of owning a custom body shop. From 1967 to 74 I was the announcer at Norwalk Dragway, now called Summit Motor Park in Norwalk, Ohio....My main work was in the body shop doing custom paint and body for many years. I did work for many people across the country, stars of NASCAR, drag racing and even a country and western superstar until 1982. After that I have done only graphic arts work. Although I have had an unlisted phone since 82 my phone still rings with people wanting my services. ths, pinstriping on all kinds of antique cars, safes, music boxes, and doing gold leaf lettering on vintage boats. When I have nothing better to do , I cut up old boats and make museum quality furniture out of the transoms and bows, and cabinets, chairs, picnic tables and various other stuff depending on what is salvageable from the junker boat. In the mid 70's some race cars I did made many hot rod mags., Even got a centerfold spread once. The mid 80's to mid 90's I travelled extensively . I now am mostly retired and spend the summer months on or around the Lake Erie islands. winters are varied fooling with furniture, old cars, boats, and family and friends. thanks for looking at my story, Rudy
