Paul's Story

After graduating High School I went to the University if Tennessee. I was not going so much for a degree as trying to continue my running career. That didn't go very well and in 1981 my running was good enough for me to transfer to Middle TN State to run, but we had a death in the family and it shook me up and I again dropped out of school. I joined a punk rock band called Children of Noise and we toured the mid-south and southeast for a while until I quit to return to Knoxville. I continued playing in bands until I got married in 1987. I still play bass but nothing set until after completing my Master's in Special Education. Along the way I have dabbled in a lot of different stuff. torical combat (western marshal arts: Elizabethan Fencing, Side Sword, and now Heavy Combat (wearing plate armor) My wife and I choose not to have kids but being as we call it confirming adults who try to be there for others. I worked in the Wolf Family business until I saw the writing on the wall that we would sell or merge and I knew I had to go back to school and complete my degree. Being in my early 40's at that time I chose to sell out and devote myself to my education. Somehow I chose to work at a special school for emotionally disturbed kids and well I couldn't leave the kids. I try to stay healthy working out, strive a sense of balance, learn something new each day and as a friend advised me to "Be a Righteous Dude." To that end, Be Chilly! P
