Life Well, I have been happily married for over 22 years to my high school love, Jeff. Yes, the very same guy I was dating in high school, from the class of 1978. We have been blessed with 3 children. Our firstborn, Rebecca was a stillborn in 1988. This occurred just 3 days before we celebrated our third wedding anniversary. We have since welcomed Courtney in 1989 and Matthew in 1993. Also included in our family was our beloved beagle, Suzi who passed away after 14 years of loyalty to a family who loved her dearly. I have been both a stay at home mom and a working mom. In 2001, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I took the year off to spend time with my family and fight the battle against cancer. After a brief return to work, I decided that being a stay at home mom was what I wanted to do, at least for a while. My staying home lasted until January of 2008. I am now very happily employed at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church's TLC Childcare Program. This was my focused course of study while in AAHS, and I am joyous at b...Expand for more
