Paula's Story
Life
I live just outside Houston, Texas with my husband, Gary, and our son, Connor at pgray at artlover dot you know the ending. I've lived here since 1981 after my family moved here from Chandler. I'm a full-time mom as well as a behavior analyst for a local psychologist. I would love to hear from any of my CHS or other school friends. I'm not the greatest correspondent, but promise to work at it really hard. Being a full-time mom doesn't always leave you with much free time. I'm very sorry about losing touch with those who have contacted me in the past and would love to try again.
School
I really enjoyed my theatre teachers, Faino and Lady Ray (would love to hear from you at pgray at artlover you know the ending). My art teachers, Sally Boyle and Regina Price also were great. But the best fun was fun and games with the South 40 Theatre Ghost. I've heard that the school campus has changed a lot --- is the ghost still there?
College
I went to Northern A...Expand for more
rizona University in 1980 before I left Arizona in 1981 and moved to Houston, Texas at pgray at artlover you know the rest. I had two roommates at NAU: Sharon (from Gilbert) and Michelle (from Paradise Valley). I wish I had spent more time there, but life moves you on.
Workplace
I was in the oil and gas industry for over thirteen years as a senior financial administrator. The company decided to move all its operations to Indonesia and laid the U.S. workers off. I'm now a research fellow in the area of child development (Mommy). It has really long hours, but is extremely rewarding. And I am learning a huge amount -- I've become a wiz at using a screwdriver to fix hot wheels cars and trucks and can probably tell you the entire bios of every superhero out there. Whoever thought that I'd be a mom? Certainly not me! But at least that art degree is coming in handy.
Military
Never had the honor of being in the military, but I greatly respect those who were/are.
