Paula's Story
I moved to Arizona the summer before my freshman year from a SMALL town in Minnesota. (Ufda). My brother Dave and I knew no one here, and did nothing but swim that entire summer. None of our old friends from the great white north could believe that we actually had a pool in our back yard!
One of my first memories of Apollo was freshman orientation and honestly, there were more kids there than in the entire town of Faribault, MN! True to the "Have a happy day" theme of the day, everyone we met was nice. (Remember the happy face painted on top of the Coliseum?)

d yet I met many good souls. I am sorry now that I didn't try harder to keep in touch with my friends. I tried College but it wasn't the right time. I went into retail eventually becoming a Buyer for a Department Store in Minneapolis. I traveled to New York once a month. Looking back it was a fabulous job. My twins came next which kind of changed everything. I raised two great kids as a single parent. Jon and Jessica are 22 and pretty awesome. I also have a 14 year old daughter, Hannah.
You blink and your 50, go figure. I am back in school trying to finish my degree.
Life is full of surprises.
