Life
Hiya. I'm pursuing the Creative Arts as I always did, and still writing off and on. Novels by "Jehan St. Marc" and short stories by CP Warner are still available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Just do an author search, and you'll find me/us.
Music is still terribly important, though I have pretty much retired from performing. It was getting to be too much of a grind, and very little fun. So, I've traded singing for a djembe and am studying African drumming, and popping in on various drum circles in RI and MA, and having a lot of fun. I always wanted to drum, but I wasn't allowed. My father hated noise of any kind. But now I am Old and can pretty much do what I want to, musically speaking. Hubby doesn't like noise, but I can practice when he's not home. And I do. ;-)
My friendship with the Irish rock band, Black 47, continues to be a joy, and I will be joining them and a bunch of other fans for the fourth time, for a tour of Ireland in mid-Nove...Expand for more
mber. Much knitting will be done; enough whiskey to keep me happy will be consumed. And through it all, MUSIC that picks you up and flings you across the room. I love it!
I got aid off from my little part-time job here in town, so am really trying to make my home/internet based yarn and spinning fiber business flourish. Basically, that means I am totally surrounded by the yarns and fibers I love, often up to my elbows in dye kettles, working like mad and still not selling a whole lot, but it's still fun. If you knit or spin and want to have a look, search for madangelcreations on Etsy, and you'll have a good idea what keeps me busy, out of trouble, and relatively happy.
I'm hoping there's a 30th reunion in the works so I can catch up with some old friends!
Yikes! 30 YEARS!!!!!!! I still feel like a kid most of the time, though I must confess there is definitely some gray beneath the Bottle Red.
