Paula's Story
Maybe this will help you remember me, I moved from St. Louis, MO to ECV in my sophmore year. I am and always was really short - just 5' and had blond hair & blue/green eyes. I'll have to find my junior year photo
(better than sr. year!). I hung out with the stoners mostly, where's Jackie Sexton and Keely Bridgewater?? I dated a guy that drove the loudest car (black '57 Chevy Bel Aire) in El Cajon. He had a '67 Firebird before that, all sooped up.
Anyway, I got married right after high school (yea, I know!) and started working with special needs kids at ECVHS campus then moved to Valhalla. I moved back to St. Louis in '86 and got divorced. That's one of the smartest things I've done with my life! Five years later got remarried to the greatest guy! We're still going strong after 17 years. I have a son from my 1st marriage and 2 with my 2nd, ages ...Expand for more
23, 18 & 16. I stayed home and raised my boys for almost 10 years before I returned to work, again working with children affected by autism, kdg. - 6th grade. It's the best job in the world!
ECVHS was only 1 of 9 schools that I attended so it's difficult trying to remember everyone I came across back then. But there were the few that made a big impact.
My husband & I love to travel and have gone to Mexico almost every year for the last 7 years. We also have a timeshare at the Lake of the Ozarks and 2 years ago we spent a week on the Gulf of Mx. We have also done lots of work on our house. We added a huge addition (4th bedrm, mst. bath, dining room & gutted the kitchen) and are always looking for ways to improve it. I don't think we'll ever move.
