Paula's Story
Life
My life has been full of adventure. I come from a broken and abusive home; but as of the age of 16 I've pretty well taken care of myself. On my 18th birthday I joined the U.S. Army. I was active duty for six years; Reserves for six years and back to active duty for six more years. I have one son who is now 24 years old. and recently (for 18 months now) I am a grandmother of a healthy baby boy, named Zachary. I have been married and divorced 3 times. two by choice, one not. present I keep busy at work, and at home watching te grandchild grow. I have a large family but we have been separated through the years by death or the past; that is the sad part of my life. I have one man that I am in love with at present who is in Kosovo. We have been together for four years but no marriage due to past experiances. I do miss the fact that I have never kept up with friends of the past and would like to rekindle some of those relationships. I am going back to college to become a veterinarian like I've always wanted to do. It's never too late!
