Paula's Story
Like all the rest of us, life has been interesting and not what we would have predicted. I graduated from UCSB, married, moved to Oklahoma, then South Dakota. I got my master's degree in South Dakota, left my marriage, moved to Nebraska, got my doctorate degree in Psychology. Moved to Virginia in the early 80's, got into the relationship I am still in, started a private practice where I still work, and adopted two children. will live with us for the next three years while she goes to high school. I have been studying Chinese for 5 years and am almost able to hold my own in a conversation. I love to swim, do yoga, read and spend time with my family. Being the editor of the paper in high school was a great experience for me - teaching me that I could take on difficult jobs and do well.
Life has been good and interesting and I expect that will continue. My mom died at age 90 one year ago. I find myself looking back and wanting to reconnect with San Diego friends and memories.
