Paula's Story
I left B-CC in January 1977 to attend Montgomery. I got my degree in Crimiinal Justice/Corrections and never used it. I ended up becoming an administrative/personal assistant for multiple CEOs. My last job was working with Don Brown, an entrepreneur, whose interest span the globe.
I married David Hart in 1988 and we had one daughter. He died in 1995.
I met and married Rick Roberts in 1996. We had one son. Rick died in 2003.
As you can see I have horrible luck with husbands, therefore I have no plans of ever getting married again. For now! My daughter just graduated with a dual major from Dickinson College in Carlisle. My son is starting high school this year, it is the first time he will be in a public school so I'm ...Expand for more
a little freaked.
My favorite memories are of early mornings with Mr. Nicki getting in those driving hours. Thank you to all those who dropped out or our "car". It allowed me to drive to Poolesville or back. My favorite teacher, hands down, was Mr. Motovich. I have used many of the skills I learned in his class over and over with each school project my kids did.
I am thinking about returning to work next year once the youngest is settled into high school. I have no idea what I want to do, but jobs have a way of finding me. In the meantime, I will be helping my mom out while she recovers from knee surgery in September and November.
Wish I still had my year book, but it was destroyed when the basement flooded years ago.
