Paula's Story

I am now living in Alabama, moving here from Florida where I lived since 1984. In Florida, I owned a travel and tour company until 1996. At that time I decided to close down my company to attend a ministerial seminary program and received my ordination as a metaphysical minister. I was the Pastor of the United Metaphyiscal Church of the Palm Beaches until 2003. My husband passed away in 2001 and I decided to follow my passion for horse breeding and retired as pastor, moved to Okeechobee, Fl to start breeding paint horses. In 2007, I decided to move my horses to Muscadine,...Expand for more
AL where land, taxes, and insurance are a great deal more reasonable than in Florida. I have now added the breeding of Jack Russell Terriers to my farm and offer my farm as a B & B for travelers and their horses. The name of my farm is Crescent Moon Acres. An update as of 2022, I returned to college at Jacksonville State University to earn my Master's Degree in Social Work and I am currently employed at Gadsden State Community College as an Outreach Educational Advisor for a federally funded program designed to help low-income, first generation students return to school.
