Paula's Story
Life
I'm a widow with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who take up a lot of my time. I enjoy painting and scrapbooking. Going for walks, watching crime shows on TV. getting together with friends and family for cookouts. Going to church. I like to read for my quiet times. I have three little dogs that keep me company, Sister, Itsy and Shotsy. They go everywhere with me except shopping. I'm not a clubby person so don't belong to any. I have plenty to do otherwise. I like to grow flowers and do a little yard work. Don't travel much as I'm not real confident striking out to parts unknown alone.

m retired from hospital work.
I have three daughters and two sons. All three daughters work in the medical field. One son works at the college. The youngest son passed away in 1999.
I didn't graduate from Smiley but graduated later on at Springfield high in Springfield Illinois. I live near Springfield in a small farm community where people are friendly and I can depend on my neighbors to mow my grass and shovel snow for me. I'm a long way from Houston, but my family is here so it has never intered my mind to move back.
Thats about it. It hasn't been a glamourous life but it's been a good one.
