Paula's Story

Paula is from Brentwood, New York. Paula's schools include Brentwood High School, Ross High School, South Junior High School, Loretta Park Elementary School. Music Paula likes includes I'm really good with everything across the board except RAP (ugh!) I truly enjoy 70s & 80s music-- Music is like a time capsule for me-- I can relate to each era one way or another-- Likewise for Movies (TV or Theater).. Books Paula likes include Saving Chimpanzees, Think and Grow Rich, Secret Regrets. Everything that is self-improvement and Law of Attraction and Positive Thinking.. I enjoy "feel good" stories.. btw, more often than not I get my reading via audio-books.. Movies Paula likes include The Birds, Psycho, Hocus Pocus. , Officer and Gentleman, Steel Magnolias, Sybil, TV shows Paula likes include The Revolution, Escape to Chimp Eden : Animal Planet, Orangutan Island : Animal Planet. I LOVE reality shows! And I still watch many of the old timers such as All In The Family, Father Knows Best, Gunsmoke, etc., One of Paula's favorite quotes is:"Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching? ~Dennis and Wendy Mannering Treat yourself the way you want to be treated by others .. love yourself and you will be loved Choose your thoughts carefully .. you are a masterpiece of your life Whether you think you can or can't either way you are right.~ Henry Ford You create your own universe as you go along.~Winston Churchill All that we are is the result of what we have thought~Buddha It is done unto you as you believe... ~Jesus Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine. ~Anthony J. D'Angelo, Be the change you wish to see in the world~Gandhi If you don't get everything you want, think of the things you don't get that you don'...Expand for more
t want. ~Oscar Wilde Life is a shipwreck but we must not forget to sing in the lifeboats. ~Voltaire I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet. ~Ancient Persian Saying If you don't think every day is a good day, just try missing one. ~Cavett Robert". More about Paula:"Follow Your Bliss.... And the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.. "One of the most courageous things you can do is identify yourself, know who you are, what you believe in and where you want to go." This is a tricky question to answer as I'm not always entirely sure who I am from one moment to the next... Not like I'm bi-polar (though some folks opinion my differ) Life seems to always be changing for me..Just when I think I know who I am, life throws a few challenges my way and as expected, the experience seems to change me... Hopefully changing me for the better, that's if I'm smart enough to learn from my experiences.. In fact, all I'm certain of is that I'm not the same person as I once was... I see, I feel, I try to express.. Sometimes funny, sometimes not so funny.. But always real... From the time I can remember my dream was very simple. I wanted to be married, have a nice home and be a Mom to 6 children... I can whole heartily say, my dreams did indeed come true.. I've been a stay-at-home Mom for over half my life and for the most part, having the love of my children through it all. I am very, very blessed and I do thank God for all the joy these kids bring to my heart.. My children bring much joy and love to my heart. We're not quite the Hallmark card, however I think we do possess those important ingredients that make us a strong family.. We Love, Honor and Respect each other..
