Paula's Story

Life update! Same stuff. Married to Peter and living in Roanoke IN. Have 3 sons, one in PA, one in Mishawaka IN, and one who will be a sophomore at college this upcoming year. Middle son getting married this July, oldest next June. youngest playing semi-pro summer baseball, so busy at the games. Life is good for sure-can't complain a bit! I have lived in Roanoke since 1986-about 2 years less than in Lake Station. Only have one cousin for family on my side left in the old area, but lots of in-laws-the whole Tarnowski clan lol, minus one brother. Spending a lot of time at the ball park naturally, like usual. The middle one played through college. Almost made it to the big leagues-had draft papers signed for the mariners-but injury and age canceled that. He was however one of only 4 first team rawlings gold glove outfielders in the entire nation, which was pretty awesome. Oldest son in Tasmania on business for a few weeks-moving fast up the work ladder. That's about it. Saw a few people were interested in a reunion. IF and when we have one I think we should follow the class ahead of us. they met for a casual dinner, went to a homecoming game and had a huge bonfire-heard it was a big hit. No muss, no fuss and not too expensive. That's about all... Life Hello eveyone. Like most of you the years have rolled by, and it's hard to believe that we have kids who have graduated from college! All those years that seemed SO important before, now seem like they passed in a blink of an eye. The silly things that kept us from getting to know one another better, and the petty differences seem pretty stupid now. Most of us have moved on, grown up, and in our own separate ways became succes...Expand for more
sful-whether in the work force, or on the homefront. I know the decision I made to be a stay at home mom all those years was the right one for me. I've had a chance to talk with a few of you through the years, and with the exception of one here or there, we've all turned out fine. The older I get, the more it seems I remember. Maybe I'm just trying to get it all in before old(er) age sets in and I forget it all! :) Not that I in any way live in the past. There is too much good now, and in the future to dwell on what's happened before. But each of those episodes in our lives helped make us the people who we are today, and will always remain a very important part of us. I know the years at Bailey and all my classmates there will always hold a special place in my life and in my heart. Patrol duty-who can forget all the fun we had there! Lunch monitoring, recess in the back of the school, and so much more. Then we left our little part of Lake Station and moved on and in with the rest of the town in our later years. I guess the main thing I'd like to leave here, is to say thank you to all of you who let me be a part of your lives. There were ups, and there were downs, but it sure was some ride! Take care and may God bless you more than you ever imagined was possible! IF you care to write me, you can find me on some of the usual message sites! Paula Workplace Well, being a stay at home made my main workplace pretty obvious! When the kids were all in school I did go back in and became a subsititue teacher. I recently took off some time so that I could follow my middle son's collegiate baseball career, and my youngest one's high school season. Can't say that I miss it!
