PAULA's Story
Life
Well, here it is 2008 and I still am not married. Never have been married, and not sure it will ever happen.
On the family front, I lost my dad to a 17 year battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006. My mom is still going strong, considering she has been battling Crohn's disease for 25 years.
I have a cat, Ms Bailey Catz. She is my child and spoiled rotten. She and I travel together when I go to see my boyfriend in Wisconsin (Michigan isn't cold enough for me).
I have an 18.5 year old nephew who just got engaged Jan 2. They will be waiting for a bit to get married, since he has joined the Navy and will be going to boot camp in November, just prior to Thanksgiving. Should be interesting to see how he handles himself with being away during the holidays.
I am living in Massachusetts, outside of Boston. I found a job as an office manager, and I am so excited in this adventure.
I have enjoyed the ride so far, and looking forward to the next 100 years with just as much enthusiasm.

College
Well, in 2005 I received my Associates degree in Business Management.

nd just picked it up again at the end of 2007. Back on track with that.
In February 2008, I will start another degree program in Hospital Coding and Billing. After I am certified in that, I will have 3 degrees and the ability to do anything else that I so desire. Well, with this degree, I will not be continuing at the moment. Classes were in Downtown Detroit, and with living in Massachusetts, too much of a commute (hehe).
UPDATE:
In August 2011, I moved again. This time to Florida. Ms Catz moved with me and we have 4 generations living together. There is my Mom, myself, my sister and her husband, my nephew, his wife and their new son. Interesting because they also have a dog and a cat, so Ms Catz is interacting (not well) with the other animals. Looking for work, hopefully for the last time in my life.
Well, here.it is 2018. Lost my Mom Jan 1, 2016. 3rd major fall, with 3rd major surgery in 13 months. She was ready to join my Dad. I've been retired for almost 2 years and loving it. I became an ordained minister in the summer of 2016. Me Bailey Catz is still with me and I've added a Chihuahua to my part of the household. Me Minnie Mouse is 3, and has been with me for almost 2 years. That's the latest on me. Blessings all.
