Paula's Story

Wow...it has been a long time since I sat down and just thought about my life...sometimes is seems like it was all a dream. After graduation I bartended and waitressed for several years at a 3.2 bar called Billy Jacks. I had a lot of fun met a lot of awesome people and learned a little about life. Sometimes not the easy way. I have so many great memories from those years... My family started in 1986. My son Stanley was born. Yes, those of you who know me know that he was named for his uncle Stan Capps, my sister Mickys husband. The arrival of Stan made me grow up. Made me take responsiblity for another person. did. I fell in love and married Wayne Joerin, from Milford, MI we had two more sons, Luke in 1988 and Phillip in 1989. We moved to Michigan in Dec. of 1989. We lived happily there for sometime...somewhere something went wrong. In 2004 I left my family...I asked my children to come with me but they wanted to stay. Wayne and I divorced, kids are all grown up and on their own...life is starting over. I find myself recalling the past more and longing to reconnect with many old friends. Life is just too short to take small things for granted. You never know if when you finally get the courage, that it may already be too late.
