Paula's Story
This is my timeline that was on the old site in case you missed it!
Born
April 17 1950: Betts Hospital Easton, PA
Childhood
Apr 17 1950 - May 1 1964
I lived in Phillipsburg, NJ and then Bridgeville, NJ attending White Township School in Kindergarten until I moved to Belvidere onto Mansfield Street and attended 3rd Street Elementary, Oxford Street Elementary/Middle School. I remember my friends on my street: Cathy Glazier and her family, Barbara Gardner, Nancy Kinney, Ruthie Dalrymple and those just around the block: Judy Dalrymple, Steven Herb, Abby Ritter, Greg Sipple. Just to name a few. I remember midget football and cheer leading for my brother's team. I remember the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the Beatles coming to the USA while in middle school. I remember sleeping outside in our yards and "visiting each other" and even going to the river beach in the middle of the night. We got caught by Policeman Speedy Griffin many times and told to go home. I remember the pool hall in town, ice skating at Mountain Lake and the dances there. I remember Senior Class Night and all the graduation activities. The Senior Class Trip to DC and the spectacular class photo with Chuck McCann at both ends. Football Bond Fires until they stopped them. Much more as I look through the yearbooks from 1964 to 1968. Good memories of fun times.

Life since high school 2
May 1 1983 - Jun 22 2010
I moved with my children to Alpha, NJ, went through divorce, married a second time, divorced. Attended Fellowship Church in Phillipsburg and was born again and began a new life in Jesus Christ. It was there that I met and then married my present husband, James Hary in July 1988. I had my third child, Amanda Ruth Hary(1990) and we lived in Alpha until moving to Stroudsburg in 1993. While in Alpha, we had ministry in nursing homes, prisons, and rescue missions.
I was ordained as a minister in 1995 and began ministry with my husband in Stroudsburg nursing homes and we opened Grace...Expand for more
Chapel on Good Friday, 1995. We developed our wedding ministry shortly thereafter. I continue with my husband to minister in nursing homes and officiate weddings while working for Walmart, Mt. Pocono. I also did bookkeeping for Jesse Harris Project Kickboxercise, Inc. a boxing and fitness corporation. My daughter, Amanda, was a student he helped through some rough years as a teen and I volunteered my time. Jesse presently owns West End Fitness in Brodheadsville, PA. Jesse also has a boxing program at PUNCH in Brodheadsville on Route 209 near Nibor's coffee hut.
My brother Martin is in the area visiting in Belvidere quite often.
It was really great to see so many classmates, and underclassmen, at the October 68-71 reunion in Belvidere. I probably didn't get to say hello to many of you but it was not intentional. I am hoping to go to the Alumni Banquets now to keep in touch with many Belvidere graduates. If any of you are ever in Mt. Pocono to shop at Walmart, look for me in customer service or at a register.I am working Mondays thru Thursdays right now. The holidays were good and Stacey came in from Canada for Thanksgiving and Matthew came in from Colorado for Christmas. We all got together with my youngest, Amanda, at her place. She did well for her first efforts in family gatherings and cooking up a storm. Even my brother Martin joined us. He only had to travel from Belvidere this year. Life has its ways of changing and my daughter Stacey will be leaving Canada and moving back to the states, without her husband. Sad on one hand but it will be nice to have her home again.
My parents are coming through some difficult health issues but will be better in the end. My husband Jim and I still are in ministry with wedding/vow renewal ceremonies and nursing home services. Retirement seems so far away but will come eventually. Not sure if it will be better because it sounds as if the present government administration is doing all it can to take away all we have as free citizens of the USA and give it all to those who are not citizens or who just don't want to work for anything. What a mess it is becoming. Anyway, my God is good and right will always win over wrong so I will not fear but will seek the Lord for all my needs. Take a moment to pray for all that is happening in this country and vote for those who represent the best actions necessary to keep this country on the good side of God so he can once again bless this nation.
Stacey has returned to the States and is now in Utah where she will be returning, hopefully in the fall, to the teaching profession and getting out of the retail management position at Game Stop/EB Games.
