Paula's Story
We moved to Alaska in 1969, the year my husband (Pete) finished his masters at MSU. I finished my bachelors and masters degree(s) at the University of Alaska Anchorage and taught full time for 21 years. I retired in 1998 and have done some substitute teaching at the school I retired from for the past 10 years.
I still play in a couple of bands - the Anchorage Community Concert Band and the Front Row Seats Band which plays for sporting events. I have a bell choir at Joy Lutheran Church and thorou...Expand for more
ghly enjoy directing a group of ladies who like to ring bells. I have also accompanied the school choir for a number of years. Music is still a big part of my life.
We have raised and trained Morgan horses but have only 1 left and she is for sale. We would like to travel more and leave Alaska in the winters for a much warmer winter.
We have put this event on the calendar for next year. It will be neat to catch up with all of you who have had many wonderful experiences in the last 50 years.
