Paula's Story

I think the thing about me that would most surprise everyone at my class reunion would be if I came rolling up on my Honda VTX 1300 motorcycle. After my divorce, I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream of learning how to ride a motorcycle. I took a three day rider education course and successfully obtained my motorcycle license. I've been riding since 2003. My first bike was a Honda Shadow VT700 and in 2008 upgraded to the VTX. So far I have done two 1,000 mile long weekends but I ...Expand for more
plan to do many more. I did one trip to Virginia and cruised Skyline drive through Shenandoah National Park. My second long trip was to Niagara Falls. There are no words to describe the invigorating feeling of power and independence you get from commanding that machine between your legs. Aside from my two beautiful children, Sheena born in 1992 and Hunter born in 1998, my ride is my joy! In 2009 I did a 3,000 mile bike trip around the Great Lakes in eight days! I love Canada. Paula
