Paulette (Paula)'s Story
Life
I enjoy living in the counrty and the 60 acres that we have. With having the horses I always have a place to ride or even swim them in our pond. I still spend my week in July in PA. and even spoil the horse that I take by getting him a stall. We are now experiencing "Empty Nest" with both boys moving out, Mike to the Navy and Chris to an apartment. So Marty and I have taken up ballroom dancing, a nice way to spend an evening together.
My Spouse
We went to Genesee Community College together. Marty & I got married in 1985 after he pursued me for 13 years!! We have 2 sons Chris and Mike who both ride horses and Chris is a motorhead like both his parents. My Pets
2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 horses and assorted fish.
My Job
After 8 years as a Vet Tech I have decided to go back to office work. I am tired of getting beaten up by the animals and want to have a job where I don't have to worry about the patient dying. I am working as an Accounting Manage rat a small company downtown Buffalo near the HSBC Arena. I moved up from Associate when my Supervisor retired last year. It's been an interesting change and a challenge at times. Looking forward to when I can retire and enjoy life. Despite the drive I enjoy working downtown and the ability to walk around on sidewalks at lunch time. My past few jobs had been out in the country where you had to drive to go anywhere for lunch.
