Paulette's Story
Life
Life has been interesting. After high school, I went to West Virginia Northern; received my associate degree and worked in Wheeling for about 4 years. Met Gary Persons, a disc jockey, at WKWK and got married. We moved to Youngstown; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Brookfield, Connecticut. All in 7 months. We lived in Connecticut for 2 years then moved back to Virginia Beach. After 2 1/2 years, we moved to Carpinteria, California. Gary and I devorced in 198...Expand for more
8 and he died in September of 2001. Carpinteria has been my home since 1983. I love it. The beach is about a mile away from my home. Working in the water treatment industry since 1984 has given me a lot of opportunities.
Jack and I have been together over 10 years. He has 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. They are great and I love getting together with them.
Life has been much more than I expected and I love it. Living near the Pacific is the best.
