Paulette's Story

Life After graduating from Forrest, I spent three years in the Army, working for the Secretary of Defense in the Pentagon. I received a bachelor's and a master's degree in Journalism, from Clark Atlanta University and the University of Maryland respectively. After graduation, I went on to write and edit for several newspapers and magazines. ness, Blue Pencil Editorial Services. I got married in June 1997 to a hard-headed Detroit man. I have three children: Ava Camille, who started kindergarten this year; and Russell III and Alana Claire (twins), who turned two in April 2004. All of my family is still in Jacksonville, and I return "home" at least twice a year to visit. I live in Burtonsville, Maryland; a boring, non-descript suburb of Washington, D.C. I am working on my first fiction novel (set in Jacksonville) and hope that all of my classmates (well, all the world) will buy it when it comes out!!!
