Pauline Miriam:  

I have always been an eccentric creative with a strong bent towards leadership. I've also been a very late bloomer. In 1971, I began to study the art of massage. In 1975, I opened my practice in the midst of the transition between massage parlor ethics and massage therapy. I have many interesting and amusing stories about my early life as a massage therapist. I spent 25 years working for spas like the Spa at Bally's Park Place, Atlantic City as well as maintaining a successful private practice. For those who remember her, Paula Seidman was one of my bi-weekly clients. In 1972, I became an active member of the emerging women's movement and made the deliberate and conscious choice to not sleep with "the enemy", thereby coming out.
