Pauline's Story

It says to 'share your story' but there sure wouldn't be room for that! My life has been one with unbelievable experiences and events that I wasn't really aware of how much until first one and then others kept saying "You should write a book". One day I was doodling on a piece of paper and started writing down things which have happened and with the things having long periods in between at their times but by listing them together on one page (s) there were a whole lot more than I realized. I just considered everything as incidences of life. Well, being retired and with a whole lot of more things happening which I now became aware of because of my list, I decided to do what they said,...and write a book. Well, that's not true! As of this time period I have written ten books and am working on the eleventh but there are so much to be covered I figure there will be at least two or three more.(should I live that long!) Everyone has odd or out of the ordinary experiences in life but mine apparently has had over the normal range.. I've actually had to put the books into a 'subject matter' form rather than a 'life story' concept. The first book, "Sparks" is about growing up in the 40's and 50's and what life was like at that time. It would be one everyone of you would identify with and might even sweep back the cobwebs of time to retrieve some of your own memories you've forgotten.. Other books have gone from unusual animal stories , to odd religious/spiritual/paranormal, and yes even ghosts stories. Several books have paranormal stories as well as having pictures I took myself that go with them. The one I just finished is one I'm not really 'into' but I don't seem to have the control of what 'I'm" into or not and it is about strange weird ,odd night lights in the sky as seen from my front yard. Not being into UFO'S but nosey ...Expand for more
as to what those 'strange lights' were, I set up my 35mm camera with as telephoto lens ad used a cable release cord, and for two hours a night for four years took pictures. When I got the pictures back I cropped around the flashes only and boy is there a lot of 'strange stuff' out there. To top it off ONE night I had a three acre wide craft come within six feet of the side of my house, yet had no sound. (Ya I know. By our age senility can set in easily (ha) but my camera also has pictures of things I saw. YOU answer that one.! (No pictures have been changed or altered in any way!) the problem with that book is it is 345 pages long and has COLORED pictures. COLOR is very expensive. Amazon sells the book for $54 but I have put it on Kindle E-book on Amazon for $9.99 for any who just want to read it. I'm not going to waste the time here to tell about my other books. You can just put Pauline E. Petsel on the internet and see them for yourself.(of course you will find 'other stuff' about me too! When I first looked it up I thought they recorded every 'breath' I was talking!...ha) I did have a life other than writing books. I've been married 59 years to another Jefferson High School student, Carl Petsel. We lived In Cedar Rapids until aftyer our second boy was born and then moved to St. Petersburg Florida where our daughter was born. Carl became a policeman and after retiring from there went with the Sheriff's dept. I was a lifeguard, swim and first aid instructor ,private school bus driver and opened my own business of teaching babies to swim. Fifteen years ago we moved to Greeneville Tennessee where I am now doing armature photography and have had three private, six week long exhibition's of my work at Morgan Inn art gallery. NOW...I've added the 'book writing. (I think that's called "Jack of all trades...'master' of none)
