Peggy's Story
Life
After graduation in 1965, I married but divorced after a number of years and raised my three sons as a single parent for 13 years. I worked as a secretary and later as a Xerox sales representative in beautiful Tennessee. I had a 7-county territory and traveled alongside the Ocoee River and on top of Mt. Eagle and enjoyed the scenery of the seasons there so much.
In 2001, at age 54 and after a heartbreaking second divorce, I enrolled at The Baptist College of Florida. I felt God's call to the counseling ministry. My time in college has been very beneficial to my own spiritual and psychological healin...Expand for more
g. I graduated from BCF on Dec. 9, 2005 with my Bachelor's degree in Christian counseling and have begun working on my Master's degree in Professional Counseling at Argosy University in Atlanta, GA. I plan to eventually work in private practice but will have to do due diligence until meeting requirements and passing the state board exam.
Life has been full, somewhat disappointing at times, but my faith and trust in Jesus Christ and the promise that "all things work together for good to them who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose" has prompted me to move on beyond my circumstances.
