Peggy's Story
I got married to my boyfriend Jack Thomas in 1964. We had three children, Jack Jr., Gregory and Michelle. We lived in Alexandria VA until moving to Frederick MD in 1971. After all my kids were in school, I went to work helping DD adults in both day and residential settings. In 1980 I started nursing school at Frederick Community College and graduated in 1983. rents are deceased, my dad in 1975 and my mom in 2007. She continued to live on East Luray Ave. until her death. I never re-married.
Presently I am semi-retired and went back to my first love working with DD adults part time. I have five beautiful grandchildren, four girls and one boy who keep me quite busy as 3 are teenagers, one "Tween" and the baby who just turned two.
I moved from Frederick to Hagerstown MD this year and am slowly adjusting.
I still can't believe it's been 45 years since high school!
