Peggy's Story
I attended Warehouse Point Elementary for 1st, 2nd and half of 3rd grade. I moved to California, Dec 1961. My teachers were Mrs. Clapp 1959-1960, Mrs. Pierce 1960-1961, and Mrs. Martin 1961. I have fond memories of growing up in Warehouse Point. I lived on Dean Ave and walked to school. I spent a lot of time at the city library on Main Street. rty at the school each year, and following the local fire truck in a parade to the festivities. I also remember watching the Connecticut River flood one spring (or was it two?) and flood the houses on the street downhill from us. I tried looking up Warehouse Point on the Internet. It seems it has now become East Windsor and the elementary school is now a Police Station?
