I love being a Grandma!
My roses survived the new roof! The rose in the foreground is a VERY FRAGRANT variety!  And I love it!
I laid out the hose in the approximate shape of what I wanted.  Used the steel tape to see how many feet I'd need to cover.
Of course, I saw something like this layout on a landscaping site.
Ordered the landscape blocks from Meeks.  The 3 pallets were delivered on Monday, Oct 2 at about 11AM.  I was amazed that at the end of the building process, I only had to buy 4 more blocks!
I worked on the layout most of the day - til about 5PM.  Each of the blocks weighed 18.5 pounds. Changed the shape of the middle row of blocks and adjusted  the front row to make them FIT to the middle row.  I decided on th
Hauled and unloaded 3 pickup loads of manure today.   I have some of my perennials to transplant and waiting for another mail order delivery for more perennials.
