Peggy's Story
Life
Shortly before graduation I got married. We had one son in November, 1990. Divorced in 1997 and moved to Yuma, Arizona, where I met my current husband. We have been married since March, 2000 and had a beautiful baby girl in May, 2004 and she is getting ready to start 8th grade this year.. My son is going to be 27 years old, graduated and is married. He bought a house a couple of years ago and works as a detention officer. I am a paralegal in a law firm in Yuma, AZ and have worked here for 16 years. I achieved my certificate as a Legal Document Preparer in 2014 which gives me the freedom to help people with legal documents if they cannot afford an attorney. p, Yuma Jaycees, United States Junior Chamber, which keeps me very busy. I volunteer with this organization and do things in my local community to help others. We also reach out Nationally and Internationally with the Jaycees to help anyone. I have traveled around the United States with the Jaycees and have met a lot of great people. I have held the title of Silver Spur Rodeo Chairman 4 times now (2014, 2015, 2017 & 2018) for the Non-Profit Silver Spur Rodeo, Inc. located in Yuma, AZ. I help produce a PRCA sanctioned rodeo in my community, which is celebrating 73 years in 2018. Helping others is one of my biggest goals in life. I enjoy hanging out with friends and family any chance I get.
