Peggy's Story
Lets see......when we graduated I was too young to get a job with most places, so I went to the Vocational School on White Bridge Rd & took keypunch. My 1st job I only had for 10 months. I worked too well. They didn't need me anymore. For 6 months I stayed home to take care of my Mom when she had a hystorectomy. I finally got a job at Auto-Owners Insurance Co in the claims Dept. I worked there for almost 37 years when I was forced to take early retirement at 55 due to physical problems. I got married in 2001 to a guy I met online. He's from Winston-Salem, NC. I had bought the house I grew up in from my parents, but the flood took care of it. In 2010 we had to put my Mom in a nursing home. She had alzheimers. It was awful when she didn't know us anymore. asked me,my husband & my 2 dogs to move in with him.
My older sister, Elise, is still single. My brother, Tim, is divorced & has 2 girls & a son. He also is a grandpa! He has 2 grandsons & 3 grand-daughters. My younger brother, Tony, is also divorced & has 1 daughter.
Update, Tim now has 3 granddaughters & 2 grandsons.
After living with Daddy for 4 years we have now moved to Bellevue at what use to be called Knollwood Apts. They are now called 865 Bellevue Rd. I sure do miss my house. This one bedroom apt is cramped. I miss having my yard & not having people walking around above me. But they allow dogs & their are every size & breed here.
Oh yes, anyone from Reynolds High School in NC my husband attended, not me.
