Peggy's Story
I have lived in Anchorage, Alaska since Oct 1980. It's hard to believe it has been that long. I was in the Air Force and was stationed here after my Tech school training. When I got out I stayed.
I have 4 children, 1 son who graduated from Henderson and 3 daughters, along with 6 grandchildren now, 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughter.
I try to get back home at least once a year to see my mom. When I go home my brother and other children try to plan to come at the same time.
I love Facebook and being able to keep in touch with family and friends. My daughters think it's funny that I am on there everyday and keep up with it. I haven't understood why that is yet. I love hearing from old friends from school and accept all as friends.

nd I love it, I get to travel and meet new people all the time. In high school I was pretty shy around people I didn't know very well or new people, but I outgrew that quickly in the Air Force.
I love to travel, fish, camp, love movies, plays, Performing Arts, Hockey, Go ACES!! College Basketball, UK of Course, Cleveland Indians Baseball. Whenever I go somewhere I always visit the zoo, they are the best places to go along with museums. I sew, do all sorts of crafts and volunteer work. I stay very busy.
I always feel blessed to be able to look out my office window and see moose out on the lawn, or even beside my house. Even the mountains, they are lovely, and just breath taking.

I was in the Air Force, stationed in San Antonio, TX, Biloxi, MI., and Anchorage, AK.
