Peggy's Story

Life I graduated Carter in 1968 & ETSU in 1972. Got a BS in elementary-&-early-childhood-education at ETSU. I taught kindergarten in East TN for 9 years, married Bob in 1981 (while he was stationed in Kotzebu, Alaska) & moved with him to Puerto Rico in 1982, to Ft. Leavenworth, KS in 1984, then in 1987 to Northern Virginia where we've stayed. I'm a stay-at-home mom to 3 quardiped quasi-children---2 cats and 1 dog. Besides teaching, I've worked in Real Estate and with Senior Citizens. There have been many, many changes in my life since my days at Carter & ETSU, and if you knew me then, you'd certainly not recognize me now, either physically or psychologically! ...Expand for more
There have been some rough patches, but life is good, I've been greatly blessed in so many ways, and God continues to broaden my faith and allows me to walk closer to Him every day. Although my social life in school was limited, I would be pleased to get acquainted with you now. The photo is of Bob & me taken a couple of years ago during a much needed moment of rest while herding 20+ Seniors on a luncheon/theatre trip to the Shenandoah foothills. Hard to believe we're nearing Senior Citizen status ourselves!) I do hope all who enter this space are enjoying and thoroughly appreciating the blessings in their lives! I'm available on Facebook.
