m the beauty of the stars - mere globs of gas atoms. I, too, can see the stars on a desert night, and feel them. But do I see less or more?” (Feynman)
"Einstein was a giant. His head was in the clouds, but his feet were on the ground. Those of us who are not so tall have to choose!" (Feynman)".
More about Joyce:"I grew up in a small town in central Pennsylvania, youngest of 6 kids. For as long as I can recall, I was drawn to science - particularly neuroscience - and finally followed through with my dream to earn a PhD in neuroscience at the age of 38. My favorite jobs have been those that involved teaching. What else is there to tell. I'm a skeptic of most things - particularly things of the "woo" variety, including the paranormal. Yet I am fascinated with belief in general, and like to read and speculate about the neuroscience side of it all. And, go figure, I really enjoy Buffy the Vampire Slayer and good/classic vampire folklore.".
