Penelope's Story

Life I have been married to Richard Stanton since 1966 and have never fallen out of love with him. We have three beautiful children and six fantastic grandchildren. (Three girls and three boys). I retired from Tampa Electric Company in 2001 and Richard retired from Kash N Karry in 2003. We are now living in Maggie Valley, NC. We enjoy our time together in this beautiful little town and feel like we have moved to heaven. I was in Marketing and Sales at TECO for 25 1/2 years and Richard was a Meat Manager for Kash n Karry for 38 1/2 years. I am also a Certified Professional Secretary and enjoy all types of arts and crafts. I love scrap booking, painting, and jewlery making. I operated a home business which I named, PS I Luv U, designs by Penny for several years. Penelope Claire Torrens If I won $100 million, I'd give 1 million of it to Children's Brain Tumor Foundation, then spend the rest on family, travel and the elderly. I am currently back in Tampa/Lutz working at Reeves Import Morotcars. The job market in Waynesville and Maggie Valley, NC has completely dried up. To maintain our retirement home in Maggie it is necessary for me to be here for an undisclosed amount of time. Richard and I commute back and forth and my aspirations are to open a medical transcription business that I can work for home within the next year. I have been taking on-line classes for medical transcription certification and I am hopeful that this certification will help me find a position that I can go back to Maggie Valley next year and be with my darling Richard in my beloved valley. In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by using The Secret.
