Pennie's Story
Not really a very exciting story. I got married, had a son, divorced, remarried and divorced, and then did it one more time. Got it right this time. I was in Florence, Italy on a vacation when Mike proposed to me. He was at work at Harris Methodist, and I was at a pay phone in Florence. I said yes, bought our rings there in Florence, got them sized, came back to Texas, and we've been married for almost 15 years. Between us we have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I'm a certified paralegal, serve on the Azle Planning and Zoning Commission, and substitute teach 2 year olds when needed at church.
I've lived in Azle since 1976, 25 years in one home and 8 years in our current home. We have a dog and two cats and some fish. My husband is an electrician for a school district. We like to spend time watching movies, playing in the yard, and playing with the animals, as well as seeing the grandkids as often as we can, which isn't often enough.
