Penny's Story
Life
After graduation,I entered the Dental Asst. program at Foothill, graduated in 1963, went to work, married in Nov. 1963 to Randy Willig (class of 1960), my son Mike was born in 1967, daughter Chris in 1969 and daughter Kate in 1976. We moved to Oregon in 1979 and started our business, Willig & Associates, in 1987 with 2 kids in college (Oregon State, go Beavs!). We have been in Oregon 25 years...Oregon in my home state. I have 4 grandchildren, 3 boys and 1 girl. We have a vacation log home in Bend, Oregon. We enjoy travelling, plan to go to Italy next month. My other hobbie...Expand for more
s are bridge, marathon walking (I have completed 4 Portland Marathons), bicycle riding, kayaking (we kayaked the Tasman Sea in New Zealand), and my beautiful grandchildren, ages 7 yrs. to 6 months. Randy and I are looking forward to retirement but because of the depressed Hi-Tech sector, we will keep the business going a little longer. A small group from the class of 1960 is having our 6th reunion in Santa Fe this Oct.....the class of 1961 needs to get in gear! 1960 gets together every 2-3 yrs. Life is too short fellow classmates! Let's see if we can plan a reunion for our 45th!
