Life
I am currently working for CVS/PHARMACY formerly OSCO DRUG. I have been with them since 1990. started with them in Oklahoma City.transfered to Waterloo in sept.1991. got married 08/23/97. I have two children. 1 boy born 03/04/02 and a girl born 07/22/05. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclarosis(MS) in january of 2004. I currently am working only 30 hrs. a week due to my condition.I own my own house which is paid for and just did a $45,000 remodel and paid cash. so I still owe nothing.I could make more money on disabillity but I'm not ready for that yet. My doctors think i should. My last report on my MS in April of 2006 Was not good. They say I might be able to be on my feet another year but after that things will get worse. you know me I'll prove them wrong. new update. 2/21/08 I now only work 4-4 hour days aweek. roup in the Cedar Valley. Our first meeting will be in April 2008 at Covenant Medical Center. Meeting are the 3rd. Thursday of each month Entrance G 4th floor room 10 or 11 depending on the month. I am working with the National MS Society and they are glad that this group is being started. Blackhawk County has the highest rate of people diagnosed with MS. This group is a long time coming and is needed. This will give me something to do with my time.If anyone has MS or knows someone with MS contact the national chapter in Des Moines. They will take your name and notify you of the date and time of our meetings Thank you. Hope to see some of you at our 30 year reunion. Had to finally retire at the end of October 2009 do to the MS. Can barely walk now even with a walker. About 5 minutes on my feet. I feel real angry sometimes but you have to live with what life throws your way and still not give up even if you want too.
