Perry's Story
Life
It's been so long, where do I begin?
I left high school and attended the UW with the intent of becoming a doctor. Well, I didn't become a doctor, didn't like all the schooling, so I graduated with a chemistry degree.
I worked for the Wa. State Dept. of Health for awhile as a chemist and presently work for the Dept. of Labor as a safety and health compliance officer - I'm just loved in the work place... LOL. I cruise around, inspect job sites and write citations when I have to or when people are being mean to me. As a second job I buy and sell real estate. If you need a house, I have a good deal for you, if you want to sell a house I have a buyer with lots of money. LOL In all seriousness if you have any questions I'd be happy to help out.
I'm on my second marriage, I couldn't get the first one right so I'm trying it again. My wife was in the class of '79, LaDonna is also on her second, between the two of us were confident we can figure out what marriage is supposed to be all about. We've been married for 7 years this year and we've never been happier. Between the two of us we have 4 kids, the last one left the house last year and we are now empty nesters. Sort of cool acutally but the house...Expand for more
does get quiet. *SIGH*
LaDonna and I taught SCUBA diving for quite a few years but we hung up our fins and dive tanks and traded them in for a motorcycle. We enjoy riding around and hope to make our first big trip in the next few years, hopefully to DC.
We enjoy working in the yard and gardening, I particularly enjoy photography and woodworking. LaDonna likes working with her hands as well and is very crafty.
We've inherited two black labs when the kids moved out, Brandy and Benson, I love them dearly, LaDonna would rather have migraines since they like to dig... especially tulip bulbs. Things get quiet around here when that happens - LOL. Oh well, they're dogs.
LaDonna and I attend Westgate Chapel in Edmonds. LaDonna has always been good, it took me my divorce and hitting rock bottom before I decided to have a serious chat with God. I did all the talking, He laughed most of the time and shook His head. Live and learn and boy am I learning.
Hope to hear from you Bearcats; I miss our simple care free days when the biggest problem we had was trying to decide who to ask to the Prom or Tolo. Life seemed so complicated then when we were just pups, if we only knew.
Enjoy life, it's speeding by!
