Pete Crawford:  

n completed Field Medical Service School at Camp Lejeune, NC. His duty assignments include Naval Regional Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina; Third Battalion Seventh Marines and First RECON Battalion Camp Pendleton, CA. Third RECON Battalion Okinawa, Japan, Naval Medical Center, Groton, Connecticut. He then completed Cardiopulmonary "C" School with honors in Bethesda, Maryland. After reporting to Naval Experimental Diving Unit in Panama City, Florida he qualified in all areas of saturation diving and as research team coordinator and supervisor. After making chief, he attended Advanced Hospital Corpsman "C" school. His Independent Duty assignments include The Sixth Fleet Flagship USS BELKNAP (CG-26) forward deployed in Gaeta, Italy. After decommissioning the BELKNAP in DEC 1994, he reported to the CNO's test ship for Theater Ballistic Missile Defense USS LAKE ERIE CG-70) forward deployed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Master Chief Crawford attended the Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, Rhode Island in 1998. Then he reported for duty to Naval Hospital Charleston, SC. He reported as Command Master Chief of Naval Operation Medical Institute Pensacola, Florida in JAN 2002.
