Pete's Story
Life
A month after graduation I left for U.S. Army Basic Training. On December 5th, 1988 in set foot in Germany(one hell of a way to spend your birthday). The next three years I spent doing Army stuff (P.T., early mornings, inspections, partying, etc.) and traveling.
After the Army I did the same thing except for the P.T., early mornings, and inspections. I moved around a bit and spent a month in Barbados being a beach bum and sailing.

ned the Texas Air National Guard. I've been in Houston since then. I worked in the weapons shop and then moved on to avionics. I've been to Las Vegas, Alaska, Colorado, and Saudi Arabia and Iraq (2 tours). I went to New Jersey for three months after 9/11 to support Combat Air Patrols. I got a chance to go to New York and ground zero; a very solemn experience.
I've been married for ten years. My wife, Erika, and I have a son - Jake, and a daughter - Anneliese.
