Life As most of you remember, I was really into aviation; hang gliding, planes...anything that flew. In 1976, I started my own business, an FAA Repair Station specializing in repairs of wooden aircraft wings (antiques) which, by the way, won me the "Most Unique Occupation" award at our 20 year reunion! I designed and built my own experimental aircraft and now market the plans. I own and fly a 1940 Aeronca 65TC (pre-war trainer) so if you see a bright orange plane with a white stripe on the wing buzzing low over your house...guess who! I'm a licensee of Twentieth Century Fox for a movie product I developed and sell world wide. I married Robin Avery (class of 1977) and we have two fantastic kids, Nick and Kelly and a yellow lab named Toby. I coached Nick's baseball for 8 years and now play softball in a league with him. I still bowl in leagues although not as much as I did in high school and still carry a 200 average. I still enjoy hard rock/heavy metal music; Crue, Priest, Dokken etc. I have enjoyed clean living all my life and despite weathering a lot of hard times, I'm doing GREAT...hope you are too!! UPDATE April 2006: Still flying, still married to Robin, still in Bakersfield, still building wood airplanes, still rockin' out, still have the dog, kids are in college and doing great.
