Pete's Story
Workplace
After graduating from Miami I joined the Airforce reserve and spent 8 months on active duty in Texas. I had been working in the family business since I was 13 years old so I joined my dad in 1963. Dad retired in 1966 after my mother died and moved to Florida. I took over and ran that business and a new business ( Brandt Excavating )...Expand for more
until 1998 when I decided to sell the company and retire. Along the way I was invited to be on the board of directors of a local bank where I still hold a seat. We moved to Naples Florida after we retired and only spend 4 to 5 months in Pittsburgh. We stay in a townhouse in Treesdale near Mars, where I play golf as much as the weather permits.
