Pete's Story
Life
I am married to my wife Julie. She is a ER pediatric doctor. She has 4, yes 4 beautiful children from her previous marriage and we share a son named Bohden who will be 2 years old in Sept. 06. We currently live out in Rio Verde (North East Scottsdale) where we have our 5 horses, dog, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and a fish. We are in the process of adopting a little special needs boy from China, which we are extremely anxious and excited. I have been working at Vanguard for the last 8 years. I always pictured the yuppie life style, but the lord has a sense of humor and let's you know who is in command.... My life is truly blessed and chaotic. I do keep in touch with quite a few people from HS, like Shaun Rachau, John Black, Breck Gudinas, Scruggs, Rich Flanagan, Scott Aronoff etc...
School
I would do HS over again in a heart beat.... I had the best time of my life ...Expand for more
there. I don't want to sound like Al Bundy or one of those guys who hang out at high school parties still, but it was a blast. The saying, "If I only knew then, what I know now....." I would definitely act different with the girls.... My fondest memories where the Friday night football games... The whole deal, playing in the game and then going out meeting up with all my friends...
College
After high school, I went to California to a small college where I received a scholarship to play baseball. It was a small christian school. I played all 4 years and got my B.S.. College was fun and I learned a lot about myself. I became a true Christian there. No, I am not a bible thumper, but you can say I found and learned about my faith in Jesus Christ. I met some of my best friends there as well. Wow, my life would have been majorly different if I had went to ASU.......
