Peter's Story
Peter Bloomsburgh, PWHS class of 1965
Graduated in 1971 from MIT with two degrees, then had a varied career:
- worked a few years for my MIT thesis advisor's banking software company
- then head of state Medicaid program for Massachusetts, then Illinois
- Assistant to the Director of the University of California at San Francisco Hospitals and Clinics, a major teaching hospital
- ran banking software company for ten ...Expand for more
years, and then retired in 1994 when we sold it
- now teach Calculus and Computer Programming part-time at Berkeley High School.
Have lived in Berkeley, California since 1985. Married since 1977 (wife Terry) with two sons (John and James). One son played on MIT tennis team and now works for Apple, and other son played football for University of Michigan and now works at Tesla. I ran Boston marathon several times.
