Peter's Story

Life I graduated from Monmouth University in 1969 with a BS in Electronic Engineering and became employed by the Army Civil Service at Ft Monmouth as a field test engineer. I retired from the government in 1997 at the age of 52 and currently live in Sierra Vista, AZ with my wife Faye. In the past 28 years we have toured every state in the US and province in Canada. We hope to get overseas to Estonia, Australia and a Caribbean Cruise in the next few years. In the meantime, we are avid I-Net surfers and Emailers. Drop us a line if you ever get a chance. I use the my first intial andlast name (pfeldmann) for my mailing name then the "at sign"" followed by "cox" dot "net". (Put it all together and you have my mail address.) On March 1st of 2007 Faye, my wife for 31 years, died of a complex lung disease. I am now alone and lost as to what to do with my life. I suppose time will tell. Pete Feldmann and my cat Skruffy School I of course graduated from LHS in 1963 and enterred Duke Univ. for a year. I then tranferred back to Monmouth College and worked part time graduating in 1969 with a BS in Electronic Engineering. At that time I started workig as a civilian test engineer at Ft Monmouth's Electronic Command. College I attended Duke University from 1963-64 and found it not to my liking. I then transferred back to Monmouth College and commuted to school part time from home without getting involved at all in the social aspect of the college. ...Expand for more
In 1969 I graduated at the top of the Electronic Engineering class with BSEE and 22nd in the college total senior enrollment. I look back at school as a phase in your life for development of the basics of analytical thinking and getting a diploma to enable access to a good career. The partying and fun times all came later on in life. :) Workplace I started working as a civil service electonic enngineer in the US Army Defnese Department in 1969 when I graudated from Monmouht Colletge, NJ with a BS in EE. I was employed by the Army Electronic Command at Ft Monmouth in the R&D Field Testing of military communications and sensors. In 1986 I transferred to Ft Huachuca, AZ to the Army Electonics Proving Ground for 10 years. Im 1995 I moved to Vint Hill Farms, VA to the Signal Warfare Lab from where I retired in 1997 at age 52. During the career I got to tour all over the US and Canada in combination with my work and vacations. I am retisdred in Sierra Vista, AZ with my wife Faye. We surf the net and travel frequently. Military I was in the Department of the Army Civil Service as a Test Engineer for Electro-Magnetic Communication and Warfare Equipment. I started at Ft Monmouth, NJ and ended up at Ft Huachuca, AZ. I was presented the Certificate or Recognition after I retired for my services in winning the Cold War. So I would say instead of being a member of the VFW, Veteran of Foreign Wars, I am recognized as a VCW, or Veteran of the Cold War.
