Peter's Story
Life
I currently live 45 minutes south of Macon in the country and am an associate professor at Middle Georgia College. I am profoundly happily married to Mary Ann "Mert", and we are raising three humans, O'Grady Peter, Nicholas Rogan, and Susan Lee. For entertainment, I enjoy rural "drive-about" vacations, sword fighting in armor, reforesting/naturalizing my land, strategy games, recycling, home-brewed beer, and reading history and science. I remain an avid Lord of the Rings fan. Life, so far, has treated me way better...Expand for more

College
I attended University of Georgia for two degrees: BA and MA in English, with specializations in Anglo-Saxon literature and grammar.

I have been teaching since 1984.
