I hope my friends remember me as a kind and caring person though I was quite shy very insecure back then. I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up other than to have a good job, find someone who loved me and one day, get married to the girl of my dreams and live happily ever after. I have no idea what my family and friends thought about my aspirations because I kept my feelings private for fear of being ridiculed or teased. There are times that I blow off steam by verbalizing my frustrations and convictions. Sometimes I feel that I've become too vocal because so many people seem to prefer to do nothing about societal issues affecting their lives or nothing to fight for our own rights against those who are actively undermining what our nation is supposed to be all about. I really get fired up about media bias and their selective coverage of national and world vents, and I'm fired up about the active minority in America who vocalize their idealogies and change our system because the act. The best way I've found to blow off steam is to find a secluded place, preferably outdoors, to meditate and quiet my mind. Other times, I find that reading the bible or listening to a good sermon centers me and quiets my mind.
