I have been a lifelong musician (keyboards) since age 5. I traveled extensively over the years with several bands from the mid 70âs (Zapp) and 80âs (Hollywood, Ray Anderson and the Fire, Robert Murdock Band, The Deal), then with the John Eddie Band up until 1996....Expand for more
While with John Eddie Band I had the opportunities to play with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, The Smithereens, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Greg Kihn, Marshal Crenshaw, Nils Lofgren, George Thorogood and the Destoyers, Levon Helm and the All-Stars, Billy Squire, as well as many other National Acts. I moved briefly to Philadelphia to set up the PhillymusicZine website, and in December of 1996, I came down to Florida to work on the second âThe Dealâ album âBye, Bye Babyâ. I was the keyboard player in that band from New Jersey. In the summer of 1997, I designed and built the studio in a 1905 Victorian House in the downtown Historical District of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Although I am no longer a partner in that venture, I do still work there occasionally as a recording engineer/producer, arranger as well as you guessed it Keyboards! Today it is known as Studio 420 (and yes the address is 420 East Tarpon Ave.)! haha! One particular highlight for me over the years was a tour sponsored by Marlboro and Warsaw Radio in Warsaw, Poland in 1992 (wow, can't believe it's been that long!). Because of this tour, I was able to take a trip out to Ukraine and visit my family members that I had never met in my lifetime. Locally I have performed with The Deal, The Authorities, Rhodeside Band, Ozona Band, The Intention, Molten Mike, Dalton Adams, Brandi Lynn, Aaron Issler, G.W. Allstars, as well as fill-in work for several other club bands and artists in and around the Tampa Bay region. With some of these local groups we have opened for; Eddie Money, Alice Kooper, Little Feat, Clint Black as well as some other national recording acts. Believe it or not...I actually was a Elementary Music Teacher K-4th Grade back in the late 70's/early 80's and taught privately for 14 years as well. I have since retired doing that!".
